Calendars

The School Board for the Kiowa County School District RE-1 (EADS) consists of seven members who are elected from their respective districts. The Board makes policy, hires staff, and meets the accreditation requirements from both the local BOCES, the state of Colorado, and the federal government. The Accountability Committee consists of the superintendent, school administration and teachers from all levels, and community members representing parents, the business sector, senior citizens, and the general public. Its mission is to make recommendations to the School Board on such issues as the handbook, graduation requirements, and accreditation by considering input from all facets of the school community. The Accountability Committee meets the last Monday of each month at 5:30 PM. The School Board meets monthly on the last Monday of each month at 7 PM. Both groups meet in the Board Room at Eads High School located at 210 W. 10th St., Eads, CO.
