SCHOOL INFORMATION School Pride
Our staff go that extra step daily in preparing for their classes. They are highly qualified & commited to providing our students the best possible instruction.
We have maintained high state ratings for the past few years on the CSAP tests; winning the Distinguished School Award a few years ago.
Daily after school homework help sessions are available to the students to provide individualized assistance with homework or other academic needs.
Our students are encouraged to participate in community service activities. We feel this is an important step to help teach them citzenship & community pride.
School Goals
*Academic Goal #1: To be a data driven school, we must continue to gather accurate, detailed data to track & guide our progress by using a structured training system that includes: CSAP testing results; MAP testing; Diebels Reading Assessments; Saxon Math testing; Scholastic Reading Counts assessments.
*Academic Goal #2: Our staff is focused on gathering accurate data to assess each students progress so we may continue achieving AYP and increase our percentage of students scoring proficient on the CSAP tests.
*Academic Goal #3: We would like to have 100% of our students making at least one year's growth in writing and math as measured by CSAP.
